A teenage mother in the US has been arrested by police after a video stream live on Facebook shows the woman taping her two-year-old son to a wall so she could get the housework done.
The police said they were alerted to the Facebook video showing a woman putting tape over her son’s mouth and sticking him to the wall.
They added that after reviewing the video, Shayla Rudolph used clear packaging to pin her son to the wall for about 15 minutes.
The 18-year old woman can then be heard telling her son he has “the best mummy in the whole wide world”.
As the toddler starts to cry, the young mother is heard saying:
“Don’t make me put more tape up there.”
“Now sit still. You can see the TV from right there.”
She can then be heard giving what she thinks is a good explanation as to why she is taping her son to the wall: “You can’t clean without them running around tearing up? Tape them to the wall!”
“You can’t cook because they’re running around? Tape them to the wall.”

The police aren’t exactly sure what day the video was streamed on Facebook but received the link via a local TV news station.
According to BBC News, Shayla Rudolph, from Reynoldsburg, Ohio was later arrested on an abduction charge while her two-year son was taken into custody by child services.
Got what she deserved.
